I’ve teamed these delicate oval pearls with peridot rondelles for a spring look. However, peridot is the birthstone for August – so I’m sure the fresh feel will last right through the summer and beyond. Peridot was particularly popular with the Ancient Egyptians who called it “The gem of the sun” because of its dazzling brilliance when seen in the desert sun. In my “Citrus collection” you’ll find peridot mixed with another “sunny” stone, Citrine.
This necklace measures 17 inches (43 cms).
