I’ve added this necklace to the “Citrus collection”, because the colours of the 12mm striped agate rounds range from zingy orange and clementine hues to the colour of the flesh of blood orange. But it was a fiery sky one chilly afternoon in January that inspired me to make this necklace. I’ve separated tha agate stones with small white freshwater pearls, representing the flecks of snow on the ground on this winter’s day. The pearls also complement the white stripes/hoops on some of the stones.
The necklace, which measures 47 cms (18.5 inches) is finished with a sterling silver bolt ring clasp. Matching earrings are available.
Agate is a protective and powerful healing stone. It’s believed to be good for the colon and circulatory system and is said to bring courage and emotional strength.
