This necklace adds eye-catching detail to a classic pearl necklace. At the front of the necklace, I’ve added three beautiful faceted aquamarine rondelles and two sterling silver beads. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver bolt ring clasp and an extension chain which gives the necklace a length of 16.5-18 inches (42-46cms). Aquamarine, the birthstone for March, is a stone of serenity. It calms and soothes with its lovely blue-green colour. Aquamarine is believed to boost the immune system and to reduce stress. Pearl, June’s birthstone, is said to give the wearer a sense of calmness and to promote faith, loyalty, truth and purity. Pearls have been used throughout medical history to help treat disorders of the digestive tract, muscular systems and the skin. They are also believed to increase fertility as well as easing childbirth.
