Five beautiful faceted tanzanite rondelles, separated by sterling silver beads, make the focal point of this bracelet. Pretty drop-shaped freshwater pearls are the perfect match for the exclusive blue stone. The bracelet, which measures 19 cms (about 7.5 inches), is finished with a sterling silver bolt ring clasp. I’ve attached a pearl, a tanzanite stone and a sterling silver leaf to the fastening to create a bit of “dangle”.
The bracelet would be perfect as bridal jewellery, adding “something blue”, but would also look good with a casual look and denim.
Tanzanite is found in only one location in the world – at the foothill of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. December’s birthstone, alongside turquoise and blue topaz, is believed to relieve stress and depression – and bring harmony.
