This necklace is made with freshwater pearls and with a beautiful tanzanite round (8mm), two tanzanite rondelles – separated by sterling silver beads – as a focal point. The necklace, which measures 44 cms (about 17 inches), is finished with a sterling silver bolt ring clasp. Matching bracelet and earrings are available.
The necklace would be perfect as bridal jewellery, adding “something blue”, but would also look good with a casual look and denim.
The exclusive tanzanite is found in only one location in the world – at the foothill of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. December’s birthstone, alongside turquoise and blue topaz, is believed to relieve stress and depression – and bring harmony.
