I’ve teamed March’s birthstone aquamarine with April’s birthstone quartz for this pretty necklace. All the gemstones are faceted which gives a lovely sparkle. The beautiful aquamarine rondelles are separated with tiny sterling silver beads. The necklace, which measures just over 17 inches (44 cms), is finished with a sterling silver bolt ring clasp.
Aquamarine is a stone of serenity. It calms and soothes with its lovely light blue colour. Aquamarine is believed to boost the immune system and to reduce stress. Quartz is known as the master healer and said to stimulate the immune system and be a good pain reliever. It is also believed to aid concentration and memory.
